Getting Started: Boot Kali Linux From USB

How to mount Kali Linux into USB Pendrive


Kali Linux is a Debian-derived Linux distribution designed for digital forensics and penetration testing. It is maintained and funded by Offensive Security Ltd.


1. Download Kali Linux.iso file. Download Here Prefer Kali Linux 64bit
2. Download and Install rufus software. Download Here
3. Run rufus and plug in an empty USB pendrive. *Noted that all data will be deleted in USB. 4. Select your Kali Linux iso file location and USB drive then click Start.
5. Select write in ISO image mode.
6. When finished, it shown like this.
7. Next, restart your PC. During the loading screen, keep press Esc/F12. Different PC will use the different key. Refer here 8. Then, select your USB. For example:
9. Select the 1st one (Live amd64).
10. Lastly, you will proceed to Kali Linux Start Screen. You are now ready to Get Started!!!
